**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team at Payne Rio Grande City Dodge and Ford to assist customers with their Dodge and Ford vehicles. The Service Advisor will act as a liaison between customers and our service technicians, ensuring excellent customer service and clear communication regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance.

**Qualifications:**
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership setting
- Strong knowledge of Dodge and Ford vehicles, including service requirements and maintenance schedules
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and service technicians
- Proficient in using automotive service software systems to schedule appointments, create estimates, and input service recommendations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage customer appointments and follow-up communication

**Responsibilities:**
- Greet customers and consult with them to understand their service needs and vehicle issues
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services, ensuring transparency and clear explanations to customers
- Schedule appointments for service and communicate effectively with service technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Update customers on the status of their vehicles, including any additional work needed and estimated completion times
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding their vehicle service
- Maintain customer records and service history information accurately in the dealership's system
- Stay up-to-date on Dodge and Ford vehicle models and service recommendations to provide accurate information to customers

**Additional Requirements:**
- Certification from an automotive service program is preferred
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge of Dodge and Ford vehicles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on providing exceptional customer service
