About the Opportunity
As a result of continued growth, we are seeking a degreed accounting professional to join our team as a Payne Alice Office Manager / Accountant. This career-track opportunity is ideal for someone who is eager to grow into a leadership position through a structured mentorship program following a 4-month onboarding and assessment period.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with the accounting and operational functions that support five profit centers. You’ll work closely with team members and leadership to understand, support, and ultimately help oversee daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, Journal Entries, and Bank Reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting accuracy and operational efficiency
Participate in structured mentorship and training to fully transition into the Payne Alice Office Manager role
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (accounting coursework preferred)
Practical experience in AP, AR, Payroll, and general accounting
Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Eager to grow into a management-level role with increasing responsibility
